Welcome to the Ontario College of Pharmacists online Pre-Registration Application


DO NOT proceed if you are:

Students enrolled in a CCAPP-accredited, ACPE-accredited or international pharmacy program or a CCAPP-accredited pharmacy technician program are not required to register with the Ontario College of Pharmacists before graduating.

If you are a student from a CCAPP-accredited pharmacy or pharmacy technician program in your final year of study and your expected graduation date is within the next 12 months, you may proceed.

If you are a graduate from an international or ACPE-accredited pharmacy program, you must enroll in the Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada before applying to the Ontario College of Pharmacists. DO NOT use this online portal to pre-register with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

If you are eligible to proceed, please have the following items prepared before you begin:

1. Your credit card
To pay the initial pre-registration fee of $475.84 (incl. HST).
This fee is non-refundable. If you choose not to pursue registration in Ontario after pre-registering, this fee will not be reimbursed.

2. Your electronically scanned identity document(s)
Your original document(s) must be photocopied, notarized and scanned. The notary seal in the scanned version must be clearly legible to be accepted. For more information on acceptable forms of identification, please review our supporting documentation for registration requirements.

3. Your PEBC Number
If you have received your Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) Number, please have it ready along with the date you successfully completed the PEBC Qualifying Examination (if applicable). This information will be used to verify your PEBC exam results.
The online pre-registration process is time sensitive and must be completed without interruption. If at any time you navigate away from the online form, the information you have entered will be lost and you will be required to start again.
